Art is full of fascinating birds! In this presentation you will get an insight into some of art history’s most ornithologically varied periods: Ancient Egypt and the Baroque. Karolina will gently guide us through an exciting range of Ibises, Goldfinches, Water Rails and many other species.

Karolina Nilsson is an art historian, art educator and blogger (livetochkonsten.se). She writes and gives presentations about birds in art. Her work includes four articles in BirdLife Sweden’s magazine Vår Fågelvärld (2021).
