Great Grey Owl in southern Sweden

In 2020 a search for Great Grey Owls was conducted in the forests of the southeast parts of Halland and the western parts of Skåne. This was because there was a suspicion that the abundance of field mice and voles would lead to an increase in breeding. It turned out to be an exceptional year with masses of nesting sites. Göran Johansson shows the platforms used and how they can most easily be set up.
