Talk: "Bhutan or bust" with Daniel Green

Bhutan has long been a closed country, difficult to access. In order to study nature and birdlife in the foothills of the Himalayas, birdwatchers and nature lovers have been advised to travel to the Indian states of Sikkim (to the west) or Arunchal Pradesh (to the east). In the space of only a few tens of kilometres the Himalaya mountain range shoots up 4-5,000 metres. Various spectacular and seldom seen bird species meet us at different altitudes.

In recent years, this previously closed land has been easier to visit. Daniel Green, tour guide for BirdSafariSweden tells us about the new possibilities and what one can hope to see and experience
